Boost communications to villages and rural area
Status Update
Staff continue to expand communication and engagement efforts with a deliberate focus on villages and rural areas. A formal Community Engagement Plan (coming in the third quarter of 2026) will provide a consistent framework to ensure ongoing, intentional engagement across the municipality, building on initiatives such as village-based open houses, rotating Play in the Park programming, and the Lord Mayor’s Village Open House in 2025.
