Continue implementation of the Irrigation Master Plan
Status Update
Advocating for irrigation is an ongoing priority. Delegations were made at both the Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) in 2024, requesting irrigation be classified as public infrastructure, and a meeting with OMAFA in December 2024 seeking funding enabled staff to further emphasized this request. While this indicator of success is considered complete, staff continue to discuss this topic.
