Identify industry-specific support opportunities (i.e. Agriculture, Arts and Culture, Hospitality, Innovation, Tourism)
Status Update
The Economic Development Officer continues to meet with local businesses and industry-specific advocacy groups to understand their current support needs and challenges and identify common areas requiring assistance. Support programs and opportunities in similar towns are also being compared to identify gaps and potential improvements. Continuation and expansion of these initiatives is largely dependent upon the establishment of the 2025 Economic Development and Government Relations budget.
